WSS – Casual Invigilator

 We are looking to recruit several casual invigilators that are crucial in the smooth running of the school’s examination process. Candidates must be competent and flexible to provide invigilation, scribing and reading in the support of pupils. Examinations take place at various times during the year with the main exams in May and June. 

As an Examinations Invigilator, you are responsible for ensuring that exams are following the rules and regulations set out by the external awarding body. All invigilators will be required to start at 8:00 am for morning exams and 1:00 pm for afternoon exams. 

An ideal candidate will be extremely reliable and have effective communication skills with pupils and staff. You will have a good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy. Although preferred, prior experience isn’t completely necessary as training will be provided to all invigilators 

This post is a casual contract

Pay Range: Grade 2 SCP 4

Lead Technical Adviser (IT)

As the IT Technical Adviser, you will oversee the Trusts technical team and all projects they undertake, analyse briefs, write progress reports, identify risks, and develop work schedules. You should be able to work with your team and inspire them to reach their goals. You will need to be an adept communicator, able to explain systems in both technical terms and lay terms in order to communicate with all stakeholders. 

To be successful you will need to be able to quickly identify problems, and applicable solutions. As well as be accountable, trustworthy, and able to build lasting relationships with your team. 

Pay range: NJC (Green Book) Spot Point 35, Full time, Temporary (3 months)

Project Developer (IT) – Based at Aldridge School

To develop and maintain the Trust’s systems software and computing infrastructure. The project developers duties will include managing systems performance, providing tech support, reviewing and updating existing programs, identifying and fixing defects, supporting data architecture, generating reports, developing in-house software, and mitigating potential risk. Your expertise in the craft of programming will assist our organisation in increasing efficiency and service through construction, maintenance, and streamlining of our computing systems and programs. 

Pay range: NJC (Green Book) Spot Point 26, Full time, Temporary (3 months)
